Project:
We will create an environment that becomes completely submerged in hay. Building off last years experience, we will create giant alien hay snails, snakes, and amoebas that nest and overtake their pod.
Audience Participation:
The audience will be invited participate in hay games and make hay figures and creatures

Hey! We are in outer space. Last year there was hay project and it had some interest, a combination of those ideas and these would be better. Need multiple hay structures, the hay like the beer cans provides the context and could be soft and nice. On the other hand we need to be mindful of little
hay igloos with people smoking in them and catching on fire and becoming briquettes. More thought neeeded
we'll keep buckets of water on hand in case emergency dousing of inflamed structures/people is necessary.
Also we will strongly discourage smoking in the igloos, perhaps the charred remains of a controlled burn of a structure prior to the start of the festival could serve as a deterrent...
Russ is right, if one of those goes up in flames we're all done.
What's the movie where the snakes emerge from the dessert and terrify people? I only saw the trailer, but that's the image I have for this one. The interesting thing about this material is that IT IS THE FIELD. It seems like creatures should emerge from the field and then dissapear back into it.
